Scuba diving for beginners in Cancun.

Especially for first-timers and non-certified divers, this full-day adventure offers a blend of learning and thrill.

Your journey begins at 10:00 am with a theory class that covers scuba gear basics, safety procedures, equalizing techniques, and underwater communication. After the lesson, you’ll practice in confined water to boost confidence before venturing into the open ocean.

Under the expert guidance of our instructors, you’ll take your first underwater breaths. You will master buoyancy control, and practice how to use your scuba diving equipment. Both dives will reach a maximum depth of 30 feet (10 meters) and last approximately 30 to 45 minutes each.

One of the highlights of our program is the opportunity to explore the Underwater Museum & reef. This unique underwater museum features a collection of over 500 sculptures submerged in the waters off Cancun. Created by artist Jason deCaires Taylor, these sculptures serve as artificial reefs, attracting a variety of marine life and providing a stunning backdrop for your dive. You’ll have the chance to swim among these incredible artworks, adding a cultural element to your first scuba diving experience.

To join the scuba diving for beginners program, complete a medical form beforehand. For safety reasons, we advise against flying until 18 hours after your last dive.
